Dhaulagiri, 2022
Dhaulagiri, 2022
Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world and is one of the coveted 8,000m peaks. It is known as the ‘white mountain’. It was discovered in 1808, and was thought to be the highest mountain peak in the world for 30 years. This image is of its south face. I’m always in awe of the mountains in Nepal. It’s a country that I keep coming back to and I think one of the things that draws me there is the impressive power of these incredible peaks.
